Sam and Sue Dunn took beginner square dance lessons in 1977.
One year later, Sam called his first singing call. Now, 29 calling years
later, Sam is still calling. In January of 2002, he resigned as club
caller for the Kittyhawk Squares in Dayton, so that he, Sue, & Trevor,
could move to Florida. Sam had been the
club caller for the Kittyhawk Squares for the last 22 years.

| Sam is the caller for the Grande
Squares of Camp Inn in Frostproof, and the Harmony Hoedowner's in
Sebring. The Grande Squares dance every Wednesday evening from 7:30
PM to 9:30 PM during the dancing month's, and the Harmony Hoedowners dance
on Mondays from 7:30
PM to 9:30 PM. Take a look at the Hoedowner's schedule for workshops

calls in the West Coast Florida area, and other places around the country. |

Sam is 1/3 of the popular singing group, The Good Ole' Boys.
He sings tenor. He calls all levels, from basics to A2. If he has
to, he can even cue enough rounds to get him through a square dance. |
| Sam & Sue have traveled to London, England, 2 times in the last 4
years, to call festivals. |

Sam retired from International
Truck & Engine Company, in
Springfield, Ohio, on December 31, 2001. He had 33 years in service. |

Sam is the current president
of the Suncoast Callers
Association. He is a member of the Florida
Callers Association. Sam has held the offices of past president and past secretary of the Midwestern
Ohio Callers Association. He has held the offices of past president, vice president, and
secretary of the Miami Valley Callers Association. |

He has recorded on the Red Boot Star square dance record
label. |
